Meet the EPIC21 Drivers
Every EPIC21 Crew is different. The standard for leading it is not.
The People Who Protect the Room
EPIC21 is built for Midwest leaders who value trust, straight talk, and relationships that carry beyond the meeting room.
Around here, people know each other, know someone in common, or are only a connection or two apart.
That makes how you show up mean something, and it is why trust is treated as something worth protecting.
It is a place where accomplished leaders can leave the high-stakes performance in the hallway and talk like human beings with people who understand what is actually riding on the decisions they make.
The Driver is responsible for protecting that room.
A Driver knows the road because they have spent a lifetime navigating its potholes. They know how to read the people on the bus, when to push, when to challenge, and when the road noise has gotten too loud.
They do not lecture or arrive as the person with all the answers. They guide the people at the table toward a better answer than the one they walked in with.
Drivers and Crew members use Working Genius® as a shared language, helping the Driver understand the people around the table and how their different strengths fit together.
Every Crew has its own character. Every Driver is expected to protect the same Higher Standard.
Prepared to Lead the Room
Before leading a Crew, EPIC21 Drivers prepare through Driver Academy with development in facilitation, group dynamics, trust formation, accountability, and culture stewardship.
Their preparation also draws on Peernovation® and Working Genius®, giving Drivers and Crew members a shared language for how people contribute, collaborate, and work through challenges together.
Tim Brennan
EPIC21® Group Driver
Leadership is about vision, strategy, and the courage to navigate complexity. For over 15 years, I’ve led a diverse portfolio of businesses including wholesale fuel marketing, agriculture, real estate development, weighing solutions, and fast casual dining—helping them scale, adapt, and thrive in ever-changing markets.
As President of Nesnah Ventures, I oversee company leadership, board governance, and a diverse portfolio of companies across multiple industries, drawing on my background in technology leadership, private equity, renewable energy, senior care, and business acquisitions. My role isn’t just about managing operations—it’s about developing leaders, fostering innovation, and ensuring long-term, sustainable success.
But leadership comes with unique challenges. The higher you rise, the fewer places you have to turn for candid conversations and trusted executive insights. That’s why EPIC21® is so valuable. Having spent years making high-stakes business decisions, I know firsthand the power of a confidential peer group—a space where executives gain strategic perspectives, solve complex challenges, and refine their leadership approach.
I believe the best leaders never stop learning. Whether it’s navigating acquisitions, optimizing operational strategy, or building high-performing teams, I’m committed to continuous growth—for myself and those I work alongside.
If you’re looking for a trusted executive network to challenge your thinking, connect with high-level peers, and elevate your leadership, let’s start the conversation.

As a Group Chair at EPIC21®, I draw on more than three decades of experience leading financial, operational, and strategic initiatives to help fellow CEOs, business owners, and corporate executives navigate their unique challenges.
My leadership journey through Trane Technologies and Kaplan Inc. – in roles spanning Credit and Collections, Market Insights, Strategic Pricing, and Continuous Improvement – has given me a comprehensive understanding of leadership strategy, business optimization, and organizational success.
My passion for leadership extends beyond the corporate world. Together with my wife Sheri, I embraced entrepreneurship when we launched Simply Entrée, bringing innovative meal prep solutions to the Coulee Region. I believe in the power of C-suite peer advisory and continuous learning. As a founding member and past president of the 7 Rivers Lean Consortium, I’ve worked to foster positive organizational cultures through lean principles across the La Crosse area.
My commitment to executive leadership development extends to my ongoing education – from a BA in Finance, an MBA, certifications in Strategic Pricing from the University of Chicago and Operational Excellence from MIT,
What drives me most is helping leaders unlock their full potential. My Servant Leadership certification from Viterbo University aligns perfectly with EPIC21’s® mission of peer-to-peer leadership growth. I understand that at the executive level, having a trusted space for confidential leadership mentoring and honest feedback is invaluable.
As your EPIC21® Chair, I’m here to help you refine your leadership approach, strengthen your business strategy, and create an organization where your team thrives. If you’re ready to join a leadership mastermind group dedicated to trusted mentorship and strategic growth, let’s connect.
